ASF's primary goal is to support and influence technology policy discussions and represent the voice of American national security and American business in state, federal, and international policymaking. We are focused exclusively on the high-tech security challenges facing America, our allies, and free people around the world.

We strive to balance new regulations so that innovation flourishes while American security interests are protected. We actively participate in discussions to set global standards for AI safety and establish ethical frameworks for AI, 

We work to protect intellectual property from theft, hacking, espionage, and misuse, especially by hostile state actors. We also seek to safeguard the latest hardware and software from those who would misuse it, whether by negligence or malice. 

We uplift the voices of the faith community and make sure that religious and spiritual values are included in discussions of science and technology.

We advocate for stronger security policies, strengthening the American industrial base, protecting the integrity of the semiconductor supply chain, and promulgating trade policies that benefit America and other partners.
